Glossary terms for letter 'h'


Hacking
The roughening of a concrete or plaster surface to provide a key new layers.

The formal handing over of the building for occupation.


Hanging (Of)
The fixing of a door or window to its surrounding frame.

A masonry unit laid with its longest length across the width of a wall.
